We're Hiring: Service Delivery Manager (IT / Application Management)
Are you a seasoned delivery leader with a strong track record in managing complex IT operations, driving operational excellence, and building high-performing teams? We are partnering with a leading global engineering and technology organization to identify a Service Delivery Manager to lead critical delivery functions and scale operational impact.
Key Responsibilities
Service Delivery Management
- Lead and continuously enhance delivery frameworks across solutioning, productivity, and capability development
- Drive delivery efficiency models focused on cost optimization, quality, and customer satisfaction
- Oversee project lifecycle governance, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Monitor key delivery metrics, including schedule, effort variance, risks, and account-level performance
- Act as the primary escalation point (PIC) for critical issues and ensure timely resolution
Driving Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of BAU and project activities
- Own the project portfolio with accountability for timely delivery, quality, and budget adherence
- Proactively identify operational risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Establish and refine processes, controls, and dashboards to monitor delivery health
- Continuously improve systems and processes to enhance analytical insights and performance tracking
- Drive improvements in customer satisfaction (C-SAT) within the delivery organization
- Manage external vendors, ensuring compliance with standards and high-quality service delivery
Resource Management & Talent Development
- Lead and optimize resource allocation across multiple projects
- Build and nurture a collaborative, high-performance team culture
- Drive talent acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies
- Implement robust performance management and career development frameworks
- Provide continuous coaching, feedback, and formal evaluations to develop team capabilities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing Application Management / IT delivery teams
- Proven experience in building and scaling teams (recruitment, assessment, culture fit)
- Strong understanding of governance processes in large organizations (500+ employees)
- Solid exposure to modern technologies: low-code platforms, cloud, microservices, AI
- Experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- Strong project and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in resource planning, utilization, and vendor management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder influencing skills
- Ability to thrive in complex, fast-paced, and ambiguous environments
