About the Company
Our client is a global leader in applied AI, partnering with Fortune 500s to deploy production-grade LLM systems that move core business metrics. No POC purgatory. No vaporware. Their Forward Deployed Engineers work alongside customers from Day 1, and their churn is near-zero because the tech works.
They're now scaling their Southeast Asia go-to-market team and have retained Newbridge to find founding Sales Leads across the region.
The Role
As Enterprise Sales Lead, you will own the full cycle for strategic AI deals in your market. You won't be selling a roadmap – you'll be selling working AI, with Forward Deployed Architects in every pitch and deployment.
You will:
- Own revenue for Singapore/Malaysia/Indonesia/Thailand/Philippines. Land $500k–$5M+ ACV deals
- Sell to technical buyers: CTOs, CIOs, CDOs, VPs of Engineering & Data at banks, telcos, conglomerates, and tech unicorns
- Run a technical sale: Partner with Forward Deployed Engineers to scope, demo, and prove value in the customer's environment
- Build the region: Land 3-5 lighthouse logos, then hire & lead your country team as we scale
- Be the voice of the market: Feed product gaps + use cases back to HQ. Help shape the SEA AI roadmap

Who You Are
You're the AE other AEs want to work with. And engineers trust you with customers.
Must-haves:
- 15+ years enterprise B2B sales closing $500k+ deals in SEA
- Sold technical products: ML, data infra, devtools, cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise SaaS to CTO/CIO personas
- Rolodex: You can get a first meeting with the CTO of any top bank/telco/unicorn in your country
- POV on AI: You understand LLM deployment, RAG, fine-tuning, evals enough to be credible. You don't need to code, but you need to be dangerous
- Founder mindset: Comfortable as employee #1 in-country. You build pipeline from zero
- Based in: Singapore, KL, Jakarta, Bangkok, or Manila. Willing to travel 30% across SEA
Bonus:
- Sold AI/ML products before. Vector DBs, MLOps, LLMOps, data labeling
- Worked with Forward Deployed / Solutions Architect model
- Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Tagalog, or Mandarin
