About the job VP Institutional Sales

We're seeking an experienced sales professional to join our clients team in Asia, focusing on the Offshore Chinese market. As a senior member of the sales team, you'll play a key role in driving business growth and expanding our client franchise.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Building: Identify, acquire, and onboard new institutional and high-net-worth clients, nurturing long-term relationships through tailored solutions and exceptional client experiences.
  • Client Engagement: Lead client meetings, conduct presentations, gather market feedback, and drive growth initiatives to attract and retain clients.
  • Market Insights and Analysis: Provide insights into target client segments, analyzing competitor product offerings to inform business decisions.
  • Mentorship: Share product expertise and work ethic with junior team members to support their growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 6-9 years of relevant financial markets experience in sales and trading, wealth management products, or payments, with prior experience in digital assets or institutional sales being a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Relationship Building: Proven capabilities in building strong client relationships and existing relationships.
    • Sales Track Record: A proven track record in sales, with the ability to translate strategy into plans and actions.
    • Communication: Excellent communication skills in English and fluency in Mandarin, with the ability to facilitate client interactions and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic thinker with presentation and organizational skills, able to drive business growth and expansion.
