Our client is a prominent and fast-expanding B2C technology platform in Southeast Asia, now growing its presence in the Vietnamese market. They are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Associate to join their Vietnam team to help scale user acquisition efforts and build key partnerships within the local market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement effective acquisition strategies to attract skilled users across targeted industries and professional segments.
  • Identify and onboard high-potential individuals, ensuring alignment with the company's quality and engagement standards.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, skill demand, and competitor movements to refine acquisition approaches.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with educational institutions, training centers, industry networks, and relevant organizations to create sustainable talent pipelines.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and product teams to optimize the onboarding process and user experience.
  • Analyze key metrics including acquisition volume, activation rates, conversion, and retention to drive performance improvements.
  • Troubleshoot challenges in acquisition or onboarding flows and adapt strategies accordingly to ensure business targets are met.
  • Develop initiatives to engage users post-acquisition, strengthen brand loyalty, and increase platform participation.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply acquisition, business development, marketing, or related field, within a marketplace business.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and audiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese 
  • Solid analytical skills with a proven ability to work with data and performance metrics.
  • Familiarity with digital services, marketplace platforms, or consumer-facing applications.
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or community growth roles.
  • Project management experience in fast-paced, high-growth settings
  • Exposure to user growth or marketing campaigns is an advantage
