Overview

A leading global company specializing in the design and manufacture of premium outdoor play and fitness solutions is expanding its footprint in Korea. We are seeking a Senior Designer to join their Seoul-based team, playing a key role in shaping innovative, functional, and brand-aligned outdoor environments.

This role is ideal for a creative designer with experience in landscape, industrial, or product design someone who thrives on transforming customer needs into visually impactful, technically sound design proposals.

Key Responsibilities

Design Leadership

  • Create compelling design concepts for playgrounds, fitness parks, and public outdoor areas.

  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.

  • Participate in tender briefings, client presentations, and proposal development.

  • Maintain alignment with global brand identity and design standards.

Project Execution

  • Deliver design proposals within set deadlines and project timelines.

  • Manage custom product or variant requests in close coordination with cross-functional teams.

  • Ensure compliance with Korean safety standards (KS/KC); support documentation submission to authorities.

  • Support the production of shop drawings and technical documentation.

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Work closely with regional design studios and in-market sales teams.

  • Contribute to an efficient design workflow, including document control and file management.

  • Provide creative direction and quality assurance on all visual assets (2D/3D).

  • Support the growth and development of the local design team as needed.

Key Stakeholders

  • Internal: Sales, Operations, Regional Designers, and Product Development

  • External: Landscape architects, design consultants, urban developers, and public-sector clients

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in design (landscape, industrial, architectural, or related fields)

  • Strong portfolio showcasing 3D design work and project execution

  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g. AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Suite)

  • Familiarity with safety standards and documentation in Korea is preferred

  • Fluent in Korean; English proficiency is a plus

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with minimal supervision
