Operating across multiple service lines, my client serves subscribers and partners in over 170 countries through a blend of research, data analysis, content, and executive engagement. One of their standout offerings is a senior executive briefing and networking platform, designed to give C-suite leaders timely, actionable insights and opportunities to connect with peers.
They are currently looking to hire a Business Development Executive based in Beijing or Shanghai, to help expand their presence and revenue in mainland China.
About the Role
This is a commercially focused role, ideal for someone with a consultative sales background and a strong interest in global affairs and executive engagement. The role centres on selling memberships to senior-level executives at China-based international firms and regional multinationals. In addition, the successful candidate will identify and pursue opportunities in event sponsorships, paid engagements, and custom client solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with leadership to execute a go-to-market and acquisition strategy for China

Consistently meet or exceed sales and renewal targets

Build and maintain a strong personal pipeline of high-quality prospects

Engage decision-makers across a variety of sectors and industries

Own the full sales process, from prospecting through to closing

Support strong attendance and engagement at client events and briefings

Represent my clients brand with credibility, insight, and professionalism

What My Client Is Looking For

Proven B2B sales experience, ideally in consultative or content-based offerings

Confidence and experience selling to senior stakeholders, including C-suite

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
