ML Engineering Lead

Our client is seeking an experienced ML Engineering Lead to drive the development and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms. As a key member of their team, you will leverage your expertise in machine learning, software development, and leadership to build and manage high-performing ML systems.

About the Role:

In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of ML models and algorithms, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes. You will be responsible for ensuring the scalability, reliability, and performance of ML systems, and will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in AI and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the development and deployment of ML models and algorithms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
2. Design and implement ML pipelines, including data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model training.
3. Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to develop and refine ML models and algorithms.
4. Ensure model interpretability and explainability, and develop strategies for model monitoring and maintenance.
5. Lead and mentor a team of ML engineers, providing technical guidance and support.

Required Qualifications

1. Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering or a related field.
3. Strong background in machine learning, including supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
4. Proficiency in Python and relevant ML frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
5. Experience with cloud-based ML platforms and containerization tools, such as Docker.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience with large-scale ML deployments and distributed training.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
3. Experience with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
4. Strong research record in machine learning or a related field.
