General Manager/CEO

We're seeking an exceptional hospitality leader to oversee the overall operations of our client's luxury property in Bhutan. As General Manager/CEO, you'll drive operational excellence, service quality, and profitability while embracing Bhutanese culture and sustainability. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day resort operations, ensuring high standards across all departments
• Drive guest satisfaction and service excellence
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve occupancy and guest retention
• Build and develop a high-performing team
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting and cost control
• Foster relationships with local authorities, travel partners, and the community
• Ensure compliance with Bhutanese regulations and lead sustainability initiatives
• Collaborate with the marketing team to enhance visibility and guest acquisition

Qualifications

• Strong  hospitality experience, with 5 years in a leadership role (Resort Manager/General Manager/CEO) in luxury or boutique hotels/resorts
• Strong understanding of operations, financial management, and customer service
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Knowledge of Indian and international traveler expectations, with adaptability to Bhutan's unique hospitality environment
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hotel Management or related field desirable
• Willingness to relocate and live in Paro, Bhutan

Compensation Package

• Competitive base salary

Reporting Line: The General Manager / CEO will report directly to the Board of Directors.

Contract Term: Initial contract: 2 years, renewable upon mutual agreement.
