About the job General Accountant

Our client is a fast-growing group operating in e-commerce operations and importation & distribution of health supplements. In Vietnam, the group manages multiple legal entities supporting import, distribution, and domestic sales. As part of its next growth phase, the company is building a robust, compliant, and scalable financial framework to support long-term expansion and capital planning.

This is a hands-on General Accountant role that plays a critical part in strengthening the company's financial governance and operational discipline. The successful candidate will work closely with management to ensure accurate reporting, tax compliance, and effective cash flow management across the group's Vietnam entities.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial & Accounting Management

  • Oversee internal accounting records and coordinate closely with external tax accountants
  • Ensure timely and accurate daily and monthly internal financial reporting

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

  • Prepare and submit tax filings in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.
  • Act as the key point of contact with tax authorities, including during inspections or audits when required.

Invoicing Management

  • Manage end-to-end invoicing for both B2C and B2B transactions.

Cash Flow & Budgeting

  • Support budgeting processes and actively monitor, manage, and forecast cash flow to ensure business continuity.

Management Reporting

  • Prepare periodic financial and management reports for senior leadership to support decision-making

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.

  • Chief Accountant Certificate is strongly preferred.

  • Proven experience in an e-commerce environment is mandatory.

  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience with companies operating in Vietnam.

  • Solid understanding of Vietnamese tax regulations and financial compliance; experience working with tax inspections is a strong advantage.

  • Prior exposure to importation and/or distribution businesses is highly desirable.

  • Working proficiency in English or Chinese (either language is acceptable).
