The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Microsoft Office, database management, administrative assistance, financial services, and general administration.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure file organization based on office protocol
  • Provide ad hoc support around office as needed
  • Ability to categorise, archive and keep database up to date
  • Answer Switchboard and take detailed messages
  • Filing of various VAT and EMP returns as required;
  • Daily email correspondence with clients and follow-ups upon instruction;
  • General office filing as instructed;
  • Liaising with clients as requested;
  • Collating tax information upon request;

Qualifications

  • Equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Proficient in Lotus smart suite
  • Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of the Tax act and well as SARS e-filing;
  • Must be accurate and pay attention to detail;
  • Must be mature and neat;
  • Must be able to take direct instruction and execute exactly as instructed;
