The ideal candidate will exhibit high standards, excellent communication skills, and have an ability to take initiative, and prioritize daily tasks. A strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines will ensure your success in this multi-faceted role.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 years of experience in Microsoft Office, database management, administrative assistance, financial services, and general administration.
Responsibilities
- Ensure file organization based on office protocol
- Provide ad hoc support around office as needed
- Ability to categorise, archive and keep database up to date
- Answer Switchboard and take detailed messages
- Filing of various VAT and EMP returns as required;
- Daily email correspondence with clients and follow-ups upon instruction;
- General office filing as instructed;
- Liaising with clients as requested;
- Collating tax information upon request;
Qualifications
- Equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Proficient in Lotus smart suite
- Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of the Tax act and well as SARS e-filing;
- Must be accurate and pay attention to detail;
- Must be mature and neat;
- Must be able to take direct instruction and execute exactly as instructed;
