Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A
Location: Toronto (Hybrid 3 days in office)
Salary: $75,000 $90,000 + bonus + benefits

We're representing an established consumer goods in Toronto that is adding a new Senior Financial Analyst to their team. This is a high-impact, decision-support role designed to provide analytical leadership across sales, product, and margin performance.

About the Role:
This is a newly created position reporting directly to the CFO. The Senior Financial Analyst will be a key business partner across the organization, helping drive profitability, insights, and strategic decisions through data-driven analysis. You'll be responsible for product sales and margin analytics and will regularly collaborate with senior leadership.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver detailed product-level sales and margin analysis

• Prepare financial models, forecasts, and KPI dashboards to support decision-making

• Present findings and recommendations directly to senior management

• Partner with sales, operations, and merchandising teams to optimize performance

• Leverage large data sets (including extensive SKUs) to extract business insights

• Support the budgeting and forecasting process

What Were Looking For:

• 4 + years of FP&A or financial analysis experience, ideally within retail, eCommerce, wholesale apparel, or CPG

• CPA designation strongly preferred

• Demonstrated ability to report to and influence senior leadership

• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling skills

• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or SAP)

• Strong Power BI or data visualization experience

• Highly analytical, independent, and confident working cross-functionally
