About the Opportunity

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction firm in Burlington, Ontario with a strong portfolio of ICI projects across commercial, food service, and specialized storage sectors. This is a great opportunity for an emerging construction professional looking to grow within a dynamic and collaborative team.

The Role

As Project Coordinator, you will support the project management team in the day-to-day administration and coordination of active construction projects, helping ensure jobs are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Project Managers in coordinating project activities from preconstruction through closeout
  • Prepare and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project correspondence
  • Maintain organized project documentation including drawings, contracts, and meeting minutes
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of materials and information
  • Support scheduling efforts and flag potential delays or conflicts to the project team
  • Track project costs and assist in budget monitoring and reporting
  • Attend site meetings and prepare accurate minutes and action item logs
  • Assist with project closeout including deficiency tracking, O&M manuals, and warranty documentation
  • Liaise with clients and consultants professionally and responsively

What We're Looking For

  • 1–3 years of experience in a construction coordinator or administrative role within ICI construction
  • Familiarity with construction documentation processes (RFIs, submittals, change orders)
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or a related field is an asset
  • Experience in commercial, restaurant, or storage construction is a plus
