Junior Software Engineer

We are building NexPay, a secure digital payment platform, and Destiny, an advanced business solution for enterprises. Together, these products redefine how people and businesses handle transactions, operations, and decision-making.

We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer who is passionate about coding, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to the growth of our fintech and enterprise platforms under the mentorship of senior developers.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the design, development, and testing of software features for Iris Pay and Destiny.

Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code under the guidance of senior engineers.

Work on APIs, integrations, and database operations to support product features.

Collaborate with the QA team to identify, debug, and fix issues.

Participate in code reviews and learn best practices in software development.

Contribute to product documentation, testing scripts, and deployment workflows.

Stay updated with new tools, frameworks, and technologies relevant to the stack.

Qualifications & Skills

Must-Have:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Strong foundation in programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

Basic understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL).

Familiarity with APIs, RESTful services, or web technologies.

Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced product development environment.

Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-Have:

Exposure to fintech, payments, or enterprise platforms (internship/project experience counts).

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum practices, and CI/CD pipelines.

Interest in security, encryption, and data privacy for fintech applications.
