As a Business Development Consultant at our recruitment agency, your role will be to expand our client base and uncover new leads and potential clients. You will drive business growth by attracting strategic clients and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships.
As part of our Business Development team, you will target and develop accounts in the Salesforce and or Microsoft Dynamics niche market, with an emphasis on securing new business. You'll provide our clients with exceptional recruitment solutions, connecting them with highly skilled international professionals to meet their hiring needs.
Responsibilities:
- Review the diary, new roles, and online adverts, creating a list of leads to follow up on.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and kick-off sessions with colleagues.
- Organize a day plan, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance.
- Focus on job-specific tasks by re-engaging with old candidates and clients and approaching new ones.
- Proactively reach out to companies where employees have left, as they may have open roles to fill.
- Research partner websites to identify end clients working with Salesforce and/or Microsoft.
- Regularly follow up every 2-3 weeks, offering competitive comparisons to help companies find the right candidates for their open positions.
Who are we looking for?
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dutch (fluency in Dutch is mandatory for this role).
- You have experience in business services, ideally in secondment, sales, account management, or IT recruitment.
- You bring at least 1-2 years of experience in a commercial or sales-driven environment.
- You are solution-oriented, with a flexible, entrepreneurial mindset.
- You are a proven and reliable networker with a strong business development focus.
- You are sociable, driven, proactive, and hardworking, with strong interpersonal skills.
