**The desired candidate location for this opportunity is Eastern Europe. Applicants must be able to work until 2pm EST**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Develop and write maintainable code following well defined guidelines and best practices.
  • Design and write code for well defined engineering tasks (small to medium complexity) with minimal guidance from senior team members.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide examples along with code review comments
  • Use a systematic approach for debugging and solving problems in their code as well as support colleagues in resolving their issues.
  • Proactively communicates to leads and peers any deviations in the estimates of deliverables
  • Write unit and integration tests with little to no help from senior team members
  • Establish architectural principles, select design patterns, and mentor team members on their appropriate application.

  • 3 + Years hands on experience with JS / TypeScript / Node JS and in depth knowledge of concepts and core functionality required
  • 3 + years of in depth knowledge of SQL Server / T-SQL and experience with RDBMS base theory knowledge; must understand concepts of relational databases design and implementation
  • Comfortable discussing and delivering on deep technical details with senior engineers across teams
  • Has broad understanding of debugging tools and methods of debugging.
  • Capable of estimating a well-scoped task and have a good knowledge of the architecture, existing code and technologies.
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients and the Next League leadership team
  • Proven ability to balance multiple priorities, adapt to constantly changing business environment, work independently, drive projects to completion, and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Proven track record of at scale solutions for consumer facing digital experiences.
  • Proven experience in the sports industry is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with designers, developers, and product owners

Location/Work Hours

This role is 100% remote. The business working hours are 9am to 6pm EST.

The monthly rate for this opportunity is $5,000 - $8,000 per month. Payment will be commensurate with a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location.
