Summary

The Scheduler Assistant will join a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring that Elizabethtown Gas adheres to regulatory requirements and efficiently manages customer workload. This temporary position will provide vital administrative support to the team.

This is a hybrid role requiring 1 to 3 days on-site each week at the SJI Green Lane office. The position is initially a six-month contract with the potential for extension based on performance and business needs.

Shift: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM EST

Requirements

  • Ability to make outbound calls to customers and clearly communicate scheduling details.
  • Experience handling EMERGENCY calls.
  • The ability to remain calm, clear, and concise while addressing urgent customer concerns and providing necessary instructions in high-pressure situations.
  • Capability to stay composed and focused during emergencies, managing both personal stress and handling customer emotions effectively to provide reassurance and solutions.
  • Ability to quickly assess emergency situations, determine the best course of action, and coordinate responses to resolve issues efficiently.
