Job Title: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) - ISUDT
Location: Crescent City, California
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract (6-9 months, with potential for extension)
Pay Range: $67.75 - $69.75 per hour
Position Overview
We are hiring a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) to support the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment (ISUDT) program in a secure clinical setting in Crescent City, CA. This full-time contract role offers competitive pay, weekly payroll, and the opportunity to transition into a permanent state position with comprehensive benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct clinical assessments and provide treatment interventions including individual and group therapy
- Deliver services aligned with ISUDT program requirements
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and participate in treatment planning
- Assist with transitional care planning and connect patients with community services upon release
- Evaluate patients within the context of family systems and individual biopsychosocial needs
- Develop and contribute to solution-focused treatment plans with measurable goals
- Document patient progress, recommend appropriate interventions, and coordinate discharges or transfers
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and ongoing clinical training
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 12 continuous months providing direct patient care within the last 3 years
- Licensure: Active MFT license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (required)
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- ID: Valid Photo ID, Drivers License, or Passport
