Job Title: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) - ISUDT
Location: Chowchilla, California
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract (14 weeks, with potential for extension)
Pay Range: $67.00 - $69.00 per hour


Position Overview

We are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) to support the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment (ISUDT) program in a secure clinical environment located in Chowchilla, CA. This full-time contract offers competitive pay, benefits, and potential for temp-to-perm state employment with full benefits.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and provide clinical interventions, including brief counseling, individual therapy, and group sessions
  • Deliver services aligned with the ISUDT program, addressing substance use and behavioral health concerns
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care planning and coordination
  • Support transitional care planning to connect patients with community services post-release
  • Provide assessments that address needs within the context of individual, marital, and family systems
  • Develop and contribute to solution-focused treatment plans with measurable goals
  • Document patient progress, participate in discharges and transfers, and coordinate with other programs
  • Attend case conferences, team meetings, trainings, and other required sessions


Required Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 12 continuous months of direct patient care experience within the past 3 years
  • Licensure: Valid MFT license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (hard copy required)
  • Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Identification: Valid Photo ID, Drivers License, or Passport
