Key Responsibilities

• Deliver on-call crisis support and emergency consultations during regular work hours
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including evaluation of criminal and substance abuse history
• Evaluate suicide risks and ensure thorough documentation
• Provide psychotherapy and intervention services, including in high-pressure or physically challenging environments
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to accurately diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions
• Prepare detailed clinical reports and develop individualized treatment plans
• Monitor and document patient progress while maintaining ethical standards and compliance with mandated reporting
• Communicate and coordinate care effectively with medical professionals, support staff, and patients

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 12 continuous months of recent LPCC experience within the past 3 years in a clinical setting
• Education: Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
• Licensure: Active LPCC license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
• Certifications: Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Documentation: Valid Drivers License or Passport
