Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Chief Nursing Operator to lead our Cleveland-based home health and hospice operations. This executive role is responsible for driving strategic growth, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. The Managing Director will oversee day-to-day functions, financial performance, compliance, and community engagement while aligning with the organizations mission to deliver high-touch, high-tech, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Lead strategic planning and execution for the Cleveland market, aligning with organizational goals.
  • Drive market expansion, identifying new service lines and community engagement opportunities.
  • Champion innovation and technology integration, including tools like PerfectVisit.

Operational & Financial Oversight

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to CMS, state, and local regulatory standards.
  • Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to support sustainable growth.

Growth & Expansion

  • Identify and pursue new geographic and service line expansion opportunities.
  • Lead integration of mergers and acquisitions within the Cleveland market.

Culture & Team Development

  • Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing leadership team.
  • Foster employee engagement, retention, and a culture of excellence.
  • Represent the organization at community events and industry forums.

Risk Management & Governance

  • Implement processes to manage operational, financial, and regulatory risks.
  • Provide regular performance reporting and insights to governing bodies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Nursing, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership in home health, hospice, or healthcare operations.
  • Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, compliance standards, and accreditation requirements.
  • Proven track record in driving growth, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
  • Experience with mergers, acquisitions, and service line expansion.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in leveraging healthcare technology to improve outcomes and efficiency.

Work Environment

  • Based in Cleveland office with limited regional travel as needed.
