Job Title: Registered Nurse Behavioral Health

Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Hourly Pay Range: $28.90 - $41.00/hour (based on experience)

Sign-On Bonus: $8,000 - $12,000

• 12-Hour Shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM & 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• 8-Hour Shifts:
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Youth Populations

• FT Nights 32 & 36 hours
• FT Evenings 32 hours

High Acuity Adult Populations

• FT Days 36 hours
• FT Evenings 32 hours
• FT Nights 36 hours

Older Adult Populations

• FT Evenings 32 hours
• FT Nights 32 hours

Shift Differentials:

• 7 AM 3 PM Sat/Sun: +$1.25/hr
• 3 PM 11 PM Mon-Thurs: +$2.00/hr
• 3 PM 11 PM Fri-Sun: +$3.00/hr
• 11 PM 7 AM Mon-Thurs: +$4.00/hr
• 11 PM 7 AM Fri-Sun: +$5.00/hr

Position Summary:

The Behavioral Health RN provides direct patient care in a mental health setting, assessing needs, planning and evaluating treatment in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Nurses support individuals across youth, adult, and geriatric populations in high acuity and community-based environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducts comprehensive assessments and develops patient-centered plans of care
• Delivers and coordinates nursing interventions in collaboration with the care team
• Assists with family education, discharge planning, and milieu management
• Maintains accurate documentation and ensures patient safety at all times
• Provides clinical leadership and supports development of other staff
• Upholds policies, protocols, and values of compassionate, inclusive care
• May function as charge nurse and mentor to direct care staff
• Promotes a recovery-focused and person-centered environment

Requirements:

• RN License in Michigan
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred
• Behavioral Health or psychiatric nursing experience strongly preferred
• Flexibility with shift schedules and ability to support a fast-paced environment
