Salary: $27.50 - $30.94 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Day shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Sign-On Bonus: $6,000
Job Description:
We are seeking a General Ultrasound Technologist for a permanent, full-time role in Lawton, OK. This position offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment under the supervision of the Ultrasound Supervisor. The technologist will assist physicians in performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ensure quality imaging for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and produce quality images for medical interpretation
- Correlate patient history and clinical data to facilitate optimal diagnostic outcomes
- Participate in age-specific care and interaction across all patient populations
- Maintain and operate ultrasound lab equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and infection control protocols
- Document and record statistical and patient information using the Radiology Information System (RIS)
- Provide basic patient care and comfort during procedures
- Participate in quality assurance programs
- Maintain professional judgment and discretion in all interactions and procedures
- Be available for rotating on-call responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited Ultrasound program
- Registered or registry-eligible through ARDMS or equivalent
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
- Proficient in performing general ultrasound exams across patient age groups
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, with on-call rotation
