Location: Lawton, OK

Salary: $30.00 - $38.82/hour (based on experience; includes shift differentials and Clinical Pathway incentives)

Shift: Day Shift | 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM (12-hour shifts)

Job Description:

A leading healthcare facility in Lawton, OK is hiring Registered Nurses to join its Medical-Surgical Unit for day shift roles. Nurses in this unit will care for a wide range of patients and will also monitor telemetry for those with cardiac or complex medical needs.

Enjoy a $6,000 sign-on bonus, and for those relocating to Lawton (not Elgin, Cache, or nearby cities), a $2,000 relocation bonus is available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and manage comprehensive patient care plans through assessments and nursing diagnoses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide leadership to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Monitor patient conditions, especially vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry
• Care for patients with conditions such as heart failure, diabetes, gastrointestinal issues, and more
• Maintain a safe and healing environment for patients across all ages, including infants to geriatrics
• Staff a 12-bed overflow unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:45 based on acuity
• Participate in required weekend and on-call rotations

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Oklahoma (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in med-surg and telemetry settings preferred
• Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Compassionate, team-oriented, and patient-centered
