Hourly Rate: $37.94 - $53.99 (based on union scale and years of experience)

Weekend Requirements: Every Weekend

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MRI Technologist to join a high-performing imaging team in Robbinsdale, MN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting MRI imaging procedures safely and efficiently, working with patients across all age groups in a fast-paced clinical environment. This is a union position with excellent pay and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI imaging exams with precision and safety for patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics.
  • Apply critical thinking skills to assess situations and respond to emergent issues appropriately.
  • Maintain and safeguard accurate patient medical records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Utilize hospital and imaging computer systems effectively and accurately.
  • Interact professionally with physicians, team members, patients, and families.
  • Access and manage medications related to imaging procedures, as appropriate.
  • Participate in skill development, training, and continual learning based on organizational needs.
  • Take on additional duties as required to support the overall success of the department.

Qualifications:

  • Registered MRI Technologist or eligible for certification
  • Proficiency in imaging protocols and patient safety
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a varied-shift environment
  • Comfortable working evenings, nights, and every weekend
