Job Title: Registered Nurse House Supervisor

Location: Kane, PA

Salary: $32.00/hour + $1.75/hour night differential

Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM | Two days on, two days off, three days on | 84 hours biweekly

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day care of residents and supervise LPNs and CNAs
  • Administer medications and treatments, including glucose monitoring
  • Transcribe and follow up on physician orders
  • Update care plans, document resident changes, and coordinate transfers
  • Lead post-mortem procedures and coordinate family and departmental notifications
  • Conduct shift reports, manage staffing assignments, and maintain census updates
  • Assist with orientation, evaluations, and in-service training for staff
  • Ensure infection control practices and compliance with facility policies
  • Collect lab specimens and supervise direct resident care when needed

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the State of Pennsylvania
  • Knowledge of nursing theory, medical asepsis, and patient care equipment
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to respond to emergencies and exercise sound judgment
  • Proficient in EHR (Physician's Computer Company system preferred)

Physical & Appearance Requirements:

  • Must maintain professional appearance (scrubs, clean shoes, name tag)
  • Capable of lifting, bending, and supporting resident care physically
  • Free from communicable disease; must pass employment physical
