Job Title: Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Psychologist (TLLP or LLP)
Location: Southgate, MI
Salary: $62,536 - $84,610 per year (based on experience)
Sign-On Bonus: $3,000
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (includes at least 4 hours per week after 5:00 PM)
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) Psychologist to join our behavioral health team in Southgate, Michigan. This position is ideal for professionals passionate about supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through comprehensive psychological services, treatment planning, and individualized support. The psychologist will play a key role in conducting evaluations, developing behavioral plans, and delivering therapy in accordance with person-centered practices. This is a full-time, permanent position with regular day shifts and scheduled evening hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret psychological assessments and psychometric instruments
- Provide direct counseling services to individuals and families
- Interpret evaluation results and communicate findings to individuals and their families
- Develop and monitor treatment goals and behavior modification plans
- Provide consultation and in-service training to staff
- Complete intake assessments and integrated biopsychosocial evaluations
- Maintain detailed clinical documentation and reports for guardianship hearings or eligibility determinations
- Participate in professional development and maintain 24 hours of relevant training annually
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide person-centered care
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Psychology (required)
- Must possess TLLP or LLP licensure with the State of Michigan (required)
- Experience with individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
