Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Location: Robbinsdale, MN

Schedule: Days, 8-hour shifts; 80 hours per two-week pay period

Hourly Pay Range: $24.50 - $32.77 (based on experience)

Position Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides individualized care to patients across all age groups in a clinic setting, ensuring quality care according to established policies and procedures. The role focuses on patient monitoring, observation, intervention, and direct support of providers during examinations and treatments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain vital signs, and prepare rooms for examination
  • Assist providers during exams, procedures, and treatments
  • Perform diagnostic tests (e.g., EKGs, oxygen saturation, vision/hearing screenings) and document results
  • Administer injections and medications as directed by providers
  • Schedule patient referrals, exams, and treatments
  • Notify patients of test and procedure results following provider instructions
  • Answer and triage patient phone calls as necessary
  • Maintain stocked, clean, and organized exam rooms
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, maintaining patient confidentiality at all times

Qualifications

  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure
  • Strong skills in patient care, organization, communication, and documentation
  • Ability to perform various diagnostic testing procedures
  • Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
