Location: Peterborough, NH

Shift Type: Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Hourly: $26.98 - $43.17

Annual: $56,118.40 - $89,793.60 (CAP for 10+ years of experience)

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

• $5,000 in first paycheck
• $2,500 after 6 months
• $2,500 after 1 year

Role Overview:

The ER Registered Nurse prescribes and coordinates professional nursing care for assigned patients, working independently within accepted nursing practices, medical direction, and hospital policies. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, the ability to respond quickly in high-pressure situations, and a collaborative approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed ER unit
• Work collaboratively with a team of 3-4 other staff members per shift
• Administer medications, injections, and vaccinations as needed
• Monitor and interpret vital signs, responding appropriately to critical situations
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) (Allscripts Paragon) for documentation
• Participate in a 4-6 week hands-on training and orientation before independent work
• Rotate weekends as needed
• Must be willing to float between units when required

Qualifications:

• Active NH RN License
• 2+ years of Emergency Department experience preferred
• Certifications Required: ACLS, Rhythm Recognition or Basic Arrhythmia
• Certifications Recommended: PALS, CEN, TNCC
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR)
