Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Ocala, FL
Shifts: 5x8 Nights (Rotating Weekends), 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Base Pay Range: $30.60 - $45.90/hr (based on experience: 10-17+ years)
Shift Differentials:
- Nights: +$4.25/hr
- Weekends (Fri 11p - Sun 11p, 4+ productive hours): +$3/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 (for Night Shift)
Relocation Assistance: Evaluated case-by-case
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and quick-thinking Emergency Room RN to join a high-performing trauma team. This role requires strong critical thinking, multitasking skills, and adaptability to handle urgent and unpredictable situations. You will provide care to patients of all ages with conditions ranging from minor injuries to life-threatening trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Triage, assess, and treat a wide variety of emergency conditions across all age groups.
- Develop individualized care plans, implement treatments, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously and prioritize patient needs.
- Administer medications, initiate IVs, draw blood, and assist in advanced procedures such as intubation.
- Provide post-care instructions and make appropriate referrals.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality care.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida RN license or approved multistate license (Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation).
- Minimum of 1 year recent acute care experience (ED, ICU, or PCU preferred).
- Background in paramedicine is a plus.
- Required Certifications (must be obtained within the following timeframes if not current):
- BLS: Within 30 days of start
- ACLS, PALS: Within 90 days of start
- TNCC, ENPC, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention: Within 6 months of start
