Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Lawton, Oklahoma
Salary: $24.50 - $27.56 per hour (based on experience)
Shift: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (8-Hour Days) | No Weekends | No On-Call
Job Overview:
We are hiring Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) for roles in a rehabilitation/skilled nursing setting in Lawton, OK. This opportunity offers a $6,000 sign-on bonus and an additional $2,000 relocation bonus for candidates who move to Lawton (not surrounding areas like Elgin or Cache). PTAs will work closely under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in therapeutic care plans for patients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Administer exercises and therapeutic modalities based on approved patient care plans
- Support patient mobility, function, and recovery in a skilled nursing/rehab setting
- Accurately document daily progress notes and discharge summaries
- Maintain a clean and organized therapy area
- Provide care for a wide range of patients including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and elderly
- Ensure adherence to clinical safety standards and scope of practice as a licensed PTA
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current PTA license in the state of Oklahoma (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in a rehab or skilled nursing environment preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Willingness to relocate to Lawton if applying for relocation assistance
