Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (Flexible as program evolves)
Salary Range:

  • $61.78/hr (entry)
  • $71.05/hr (10 years)
  • Up to $80.32/hr (15-20 years)

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 with 2-year commitment (paid in installments)
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis
Note: This is a salaried position; no shift differential

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly specialized Advanced Clinical Pharmacist with expertise in Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT), Transplant Cellular Therapy (TCT), or CAR-T therapy. This role supports a growing transplant program, providing clinical pharmacy services, therapeutic drug monitoring, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate has recent acute care experience, advanced oncology credentials, and a passion for advancing patient outcomes through evidence-based pharmaceutical care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services for the TCT program.
  • Support safe and effective use of anti-neoplastic and immunomodulating medications.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and deliver pharmacokinetic consultations.
  • Collaborate on quality improvement and medication safety initiatives hospital-wide.
  • Maintain active communication with BMT/Cellular Therapy team, nurses, and physicians.
  • Perform operational pharmacy duties including order verification and medication therapy review.
  • Support pharmacy technicians and ensure accuracy in medication preparation and dispensing.

Qualifications:

  • PharmD (Doctor of Pharmacy) required.
  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred.
  • TCT, BMT, or CAR-T therapy experience required.
  • Completion of a residency in oncology or transplant pharmacy strongly preferred.
  • Recent (within the last year) acute care hospital experience required.
  • Active Florida Pharmacist license required.
