Position Title: Certified Surgical Technologist

Location: Greenvale, NY

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5x8s (Day Shifts)

Shift Details: No nights, weekends, major holidays, or on-call requirements

Pay Rate: $39 - $43 per hour (USD)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and certified Surgical Technologist to join a dynamic surgical team in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity for a motivated professional with a strong background in orthopedics and other surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in surgical operations under the supervision of surgeons and registered nurses.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field before and during surgical procedures.
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment needed for surgical procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control standards at all times.
• Work closely with the surgical team to anticipate and respond to needs during surgery.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with clinical and administrative staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology Program (Technical Diploma required)
• Certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of hospital and orthopedic surgical experience
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to function effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in high-demand surgical settings
