Job Title: Operating Room Supervisor/Manager

Location: Glendale, WI

Salary Range: $110,000 - $149,000 USD per year

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week
  • OR Hours: 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • No weekends, holidays, nights, or on-call required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operating Room Supervisor/Manager to lead the daily operations of a 10-suite surgical unit. This is a direct hire opportunity offering a dynamic work schedule with no weekends, holidays, nights, or on-call duties. All procedures are elective, scheduled surgeries, contributing to a highly organized and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of the surgical team, ensuring high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with anesthesia, sterile processing, and other departments to optimize surgical workflow.
  • Oversee daily OR operations including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
  • Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Monitor and improve performance metrics including safety, efficiency, and patient satisfaction.
  • Support onboarding, education, and professional development of OR staff.
  • Act as a liaison between nursing staff and executive leadership, reporting to the Vice President of Nursing.

Requirements

  • Licensure: Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Wisconsin
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing
  • Certifications:
  • BLS (within 1 month of hire)
  • ACLS (within 12 months of hire)
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years in an operating room setting
  • At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role
  • Advanced education/training in orthopedic and spine programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • CNOR (Certified Nurse Operating Room)
  • Masters degree in a health-related field
