Shift: Days | 70 hours per pay period (10-hour shifts, alternating week on/week off schedule)
Job Description:
An urgent opportunity is now available in Owosso, MI for a CT Technologist skilled in multi-modality radiology. This full-time, permanent position offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a flexible schedule of 10-hour shifts with a week-on, week-off rotation. You will be responsible for performing computed tomography procedures on inpatients, outpatients, and emergency department patients while ensuring exceptional image quality and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT scans with attention to detail in positioning and protocol optimization
- Operate CT scanner, power injector, and post-processing systems
- Evaluate and ensure high diagnostic image quality
- Perform general radiography exams as needed
- Obtain relevant patient history and communicate procedure details
- Collaborate with radiologists on imaging protocols and assist with procedures such as biopsies and drainages
- Follow proper patient identification and age-specific care guidelines
- Remain up to date on new techniques and procedures
- Support front desk/file room operations as needed
Qualifications:
- Current RRT certification (or equivalent CT credential)
- Minimum 1 year of CT or diagnostic imaging experience preferred
- Proficient in CT protocols and equipment usage
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to work independently and support radiologists in complex procedures
