Job Title: Children's Outpatient Therapist

Location: Southgate, MI

Salary: $50,018 - $68,659 (based on licensing and experience)

Shift: Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 5:00 PM (must work at least 4 hours after 5:00 PM each week)

Job Description:

An opportunity is available for a Childrens Outpatient Therapist in Southgate, MI. This is a full-time, permanent role providing behavioral health services to children and their families. Candidates must hold one of the following Michigan licensures: LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, or LLP. Youll deliver client-centered care including therapy, assessments, referrals, and treatment planning in a supportive, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct intake assessments and complete all necessary clinical and administrative paperwork
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide monthly face-to-face interventions and offer individual, family, and group therapy
  • Deliver parent education, crisis planning, and resource referrals
  • Collaborate with schools, physicians, and other support services
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and agency initiatives
  • Maintain documentation in accordance with agency standards
  • Provide 23 billable hours per week and develop a weekly schedule with 4 hours after 5:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology
  • Must possess one of the following Michigan licensures: LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, or LLP
  • Strong clinical skills in working with children, adolescents, and families
  • Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional development
  • Must complete 24 hours of training annually focused on children/adolescents
  • Ability to work collaboratively and represent the organization professionally
