Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive Hospice to join our Phoenix team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding hospice services in the community by building strong referral networks, driving patient census growth, and enhancing brand presence. The Account Executive serves as a trusted partner to physicians, hospitals, and community organizations while ensuring sales efforts align with patient care goals.

Key Responsibilities

Growth & Market Development

  • Develop and execute strategies to expand hospice services into new markets.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with hospitals, physicians, and referral sources.
  • Lead targeted sales initiatives to increase referrals, census, and revenue.

Sales Operations & Performance

  • Track and analyze KPIs for referrals, patient acquisition, and retention.
  • Document all interactions in CRM systems to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align sales with clinical care delivery.

Community Engagement

  • Conduct face-to-face meetings with referral partners to present tailored hospice solutions.
  • Participate in health fairs, community events, and networking opportunities to increase awareness of hospice care.
  • Represent the organization as a trusted advisor in patient care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
  • 7+ years of business development or sales leadership experience in hospice care.
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets and building referral networks.
  • Strong knowledge of hospice industry trends, compliance standards, and patient needs.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems (WellSky preferred) and data-driven sales strategies.
  • Financial acumen and knowledge of Medicare reimbursement processes.

Work Environment

  • Primarily office-based with frequent travel to meet referral sources, clients, and community partners across the Phoenix market.
  • Fast-paced, competitive environment focused on relationship-building and growth.
