Physical Therapist (PT) – Home Health

Location

Clinton, Missouri
Patient coverage primarily in Henry, St. Clair, and Benton counties

Compensation

$117,000 – $124,800 annually
$75–$80 per unit, based on experience
Productivity expectation: 25–30 units per week
Bonus: $2,500 paid every 6 months
Mileage reimbursement: $0.45 per mile (excluding commute to/from home)

Monday–Friday
Flexible scheduling within Medicare guidelines
Ability to group visits by location (for example, see all Warsaw patients in one day)

Role Overview

Were seeking a Physical Therapist to provide skilled, one-on-one home health services to patients in the Clinton and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for PTs who value clinical autonomy, schedule flexibility, strong support, and compensation that reflects both workload and travel.

You will work with a manageable territory, supportive leadership, and a collaborative PT team to deliver high-quality patient care without unnecessary burnout.

Clinical Support

You are never on your own.

Owner is always available by phone for real-time clinical support
Access to 5 experienced PTs in the Kansas City metro area for consults
Support for complex cases, treatment planning, and clinical decision-making

Key Responsibilities

Perform initial and ongoing comprehensive patient assessments, including OASIS
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to restore function and manage pain
Educate patients and families on therapy plans, safety, and mobility strategies
Supervise PTAs and support staff as needed
Document evaluations, visits, and progress notes accurately and on time
Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians and care teams
Participate in care coordination and discharge planning

Workload & Flexibility

Expected 25–30 units per week
Ability to move visits around as needed (within Medicare guidelines)
Focus on quality care without unrealistic productivity pressure

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (AMA/APTA approved)
Active Missouri PT license (or ability to obtain)
New grads welcome; prior home health experience is a plus
Valid drivers license and ability to travel locally
CPR certification
Ability to meet physical demands of the role
