Position Overview

We are hiring a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide essential behavioral health services in a secure clinical setting in Soledad, CA. This full-time contract role offers consistent hours and the potential to convert to a permanent state position with full benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as clinician-of-the-day during scheduled shifts for emergency mental health coverage
• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and obtain patient health histories
• Develop, implement, and manage individualized treatment plans based on clinical expertise
• Apply advanced therapeutic techniques and specialty knowledge in patient care
• Maintain thorough and timely clinical documentation in accordance with standards
• Respond to patient inquiries and manage follow-up care and referrals efficiently
• Collaborate with primary care providers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care

Required Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 12 continuous months providing direct patient care within the last 3 years
• Licensure: Valid California LCSW license (hard copy required)
• Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• ID: Valid photo ID, Drivers License, or Passport
