Radiologic Technician - Chowchilla

Position: Radiologic Technician (RADT)
Location: Correctional Facility in Chowchilla, California
Pay Rate: $50.50 to $52.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-time contract, 6 to 9 months (eligible for extension)

• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Requirements

• Minimum of 12 continuous months of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years in a public or private healthcare setting
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist license (hard copy required)
• Valid government-issued photo ID (Drivers License or Passport)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Current and verified clinical competencies

Key Responsibilities

• Practice safe imaging procedures following ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) standards
• Provide radiologic support during medical emergencies
• Follow and document according to statewide radiology protocols
• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures with and without contrast media
• Assist with specialized procedures including fluoroscopy, biopsies, myelograms, and drainage
• Develop and process high-quality x-ray exposures
