Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. DevOps/DevOps Lead with deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, private networking, firewalls, and VPN architectures to design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and highly available platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who can own infrastructure strategy while working closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability, security, and operational excellence across environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure architectures with a strong focus on private networks, network segmentation, firewalls, VPN connectivity, and security best practices.
• Define and enforce cloud architecture standards, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, performance, and cost optimization.
• Design and manage VPC/VNet architectures, subnets, routing, NAT, gateways, security groups, and firewall rules.
• Implement and manage site-to-site and client VPNs, hybrid connectivity, and secure access models.
• Select, provision, and manage cloud services on AWS and Azure, including governance, access control, and cost management.
• Manage and maintain development, staging, and production environments to ensure stability, uptime, and security.
• Lead and oversee CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes to enable reliable software delivery.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
• Act as a technical bridge between development, operations, and security teams, ensuring smooth deployments and rapid issue resolution.
• Monitor infrastructure and network performance, investigate incidents, and drive root-cause analysis and preventive improvements.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Create and maintain clear technical documentation covering infrastructure design, networking, security controls, and operational processes.
• Stay current with emerging DevOps, cloud, and security technologies to continuously improve platform reliability and performance.
• Ensure timely delivery of infrastructure solutions within defined timelines and resource constraints.

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure roles.
• Strong expertise in cloud networking, including private networks, VPNs, firewalls, routing, and network security.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, including core infrastructure and networking services.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins.
• Hands-on exposure to Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, NAT, VPNs, firewalls).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM.
• Ability to estimate cloud usage costs, design cost-efficient architectures, and implement cost control mechanisms.
• Experience migrating on-premises or legacy workloads to cloud environments is a strong plus.
• AWS Cloud Architect certification is preferred (not mandatory).
• Experience working with US or European clients is a plus.
• Proven experience working in multi-vendor, distributed, offshore/onshore teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and confidently.
