We are seeking a Data Architect specializing in designing data model and developing complex queries to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will be required to design database model, write complex queries, stored procedure and improve the performance of database queries to solve various business problems.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develop complex Stored procedure and queries to provide to the application.
• Optimize slow-running queries and optimize query performance.
• Create optimized queries and data migration scripts.
• Design and develop database queries and data structure.
• Perform tasks to manage data to support business users and other front-end developers
• Make Changes to table structure, queries and measure the performance.
• Implement appropriate indexes for performance improvement
• Design, develop and configure schema as needed for business function
• Experience in design, development, modification and testing of ETL processes
• Create data Security requirements, and other documentation. Ensure configuration is made to maintain Database security.
• Setup and make changes to configuration of DB servers.
• Implement backup and recovery of database

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Must have 10+ years of experience as PostgreSQL or SQL server or MySQL.
• Knowledge of database as a service from AWS/ Azure is a must.
• Must have hands on experience in writing complex queries, triggers, functions and stored procedure.
• Expertise in Snowflake is a must. 
• Databricks experience is a plus.
• Experience in Oracle and/or MongoDB is a plus.
• Power BI, Power Apps, and MS Flow experience is a plus.
• Interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to operate as a contributing member of virtual teams that deliver quality services.
• Experience working with multi-vendor, multi-culture, distributed offshore and onshore development teams in dynamic and complex environment.
• Working with USA or European clients is a plus.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
