We are seeking an experienced WordPress Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in web development, with a focus on WordPress, and a proven track record of creating and maintaining high-quality websites. The successful candidate will work closely with our design and marketing teams to build and optimize websites that align with our client's goals and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Customize and optimize WordPress themes to meet client requirements.
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable WordPress modules.
• Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to bring creative ideas to life.
• Ensure websites are responsive, performant, and SEO-friendly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with existing WordPress sites.
• Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
• Perform website updates, backups, and security enhancements as needed.
• Ensure code quality, best practices, and compliance with web standards.
• Provide technical support to clients and address their inquiries.
• Optimize website performance, including page speed and load times.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
• 4+ years hands on experience in WordPress development, including themes and plugins.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with front-end technologies like CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS) and JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of website security best practices.
• Experience with version control systems like Git is a plus.
• Understanding of server and hosting environments is a plus.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
