Manufacturing Project Manager

Location: Crystal Lake, IL (On-site)

Salary Range: $71,000 $90,000 annually, based on experience

Overview A custom plastic fabrication company is seeking a driven and technically skilled Manufacturing Project Manager to oversee projects from estimation through completion. This role requires strong organizational skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotes, estimates, and proposals
• Manage all aspects of project execution including engineering, purchasing, material control, quality assurance, and installation
• Ensure projects are completed on time and within scope
• Analyze project feedback and performance data to improve future outcomes
• Communicate effectively across departments and with customers
• Confirm customer requirements prior to manufacturing and ensure proposed solutions meet specifications

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in engineering or a related technical field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
• Proven ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn company products and processes
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Outlook and Excel; experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and E-Drawings is a plus
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or project management
