Overview

A technology company in the payments and digital services space is seeking a Mobile Development Lead to oversee mobile delivery across iOS, Android, and Flutter. The role focuses on building scalable mobile applications, integrating payment features, and ensuring a high-quality multi-platform experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mobile development across iOS, Android, and Flutter, overseeing architecture and feature delivery.
• Design and implement modules for payment processing, loyalty programs, and analytical tools.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to ensure a consistent cross-platform user experience.
• Ensure code quality, app security, and performance optimisation.
• Mentor junior developers and support best-practice engineering standards.
• Integrate third-party payment services, analytics platforms, and cloud tools.
• Participate in solution design, roadmap planning, and agile sprint cycles.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and deliver stable mobile releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional mobile development experience, with strong iOS expertise (Swift/SwiftUI).
• Proficiency with Android (Kotlin/Java) and cross-platform development using Flutter.
• Experience with payment integrations and mobile analytics.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, data synchronisation, and secure data handling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, state management patterns, and app store deployment.
• Strong leadership, communication skills, and comfort working in fast-paced agile environments.
