Senior QA Tester (Tech)

Position: Senior QA Engineer
Location: Phnom Penh
Type: Full-time
Salary: $600-$900 per month

A growing tech company providing payment business solutions is looking for a QA Engineer to take ownership of overall product quality across web, mobile, and integrated hardware systems. The role involves leading testing strategy, improving automation coverage, and ensuring reliable releases for a high-transaction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain test plans, risk assessments, and quality targets for a multi-platform POS ecosystem.
  
• Lead automation efforts across UI, API, and integration testing using modern frameworks.
  
• Oversee smoke, regression, and pre-release verification for staging and production deployments.
  
• Drive defect analysis, prioritization, and process improvements within Agile teams.
  
• Mentor junior QA members and enhance testing workflows, documentation, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
  

• 4+ years of QA experience
• Strong automation skills using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, REST-Assured, or similar, with scripting knowledge in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
  
• Experience testing POS, payment, eCommerce, or other transaction-heavy products.
  
• Familiarity with Agile processes and QA methodologies consistent with industry standards.
  
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
