Our client, a well respected developer in Cambodia specialising in large-scale residential developments and mixed-use commercial projects to luxury resorts seeking a highly skilled and experienced Investment Analyst

This successful analyst will be instrumental in evaluating investment opportunities, analyzing financial performance, and providing insights to guide strategic decisions across diverse real estate portfolios.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain detailed investment models to evaluate project feasibility, returns, and risk.

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis on potential acquisitions, developments, and partnerships.

  • Prepare investment memorandums, presentations, and reports for executive management and investors.

  • Evaluate deal structures including Joint Ventures, Family Office investments, Land Trusts, and Syndications.

  • Monitor performance of ongoing investments and provide variance analysis against forecasts.

  • Assess macroeconomic, industry, and market trends impacting real estate investments.

  • Collaborate with development, finance, and legal teams to support deal execution.

  • Establish key investment metrics (IRR, NPV, cash-on-cash returns) and track portfolio performance.

  • Support fundraising and investor relations by preparing data-driven insights and financial materials.

  • Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory, and accounting standards relevant to real estate.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in investment analysis or financial planning within real estate or hospitality, ideally in Southeast Asia.

  • Strong expertise in investment modeling, valuation, and forecasting.

  • Solid understanding of JV structures, Family Office initiatives, Land Trusts, and Syndications.

  • Proven track record of evaluating and executing real estate deals.

  • Knowledge of business law as it applies to real estate transactions.

  • Excellent presentation skills; able to communicate complex financial insights clearly.

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
