A fast-growing SaaS solutions provider is looking for a Senior Android Developer to lead the creation and enhancement of high-quality mobile applications. The position focuses on building new features, improving performance, and contributing to the broader engineering roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Android apps using modern tools and frameworks.
  
• Work closely with product, backend, and design teams to deliver updates.
  
• Ensure strong app performance, stability, and responsiveness.
  
• Support and guide junior team members.
  
• Integrate apps with backend systems via REST APIs.
  
• Participate in code reviews and help shape technical decisions.
  
• Troubleshoot issues, optimise speed, and elevate user experience.
  
• Oversee release cycles and ensure timely deployments.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 3+ years of hands-on Android development experience.
  
• Strong command of Kotlin, Java, and Android Studio.
  
• Knowledge of MVVM, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android patterns.
  
• Experience with Coroutines, Retrofit, DI frameworks, and background services.
  
• Familiarity with REST/JSON communication and backend integration.
  
• Experience with local storage tools such as Room or SQLite.
  
• Ability to produce clean, scalable, maintainable code.
  
• Understanding of Git workflows and Agile practices.
