Oracle Hyperion Functional consultant

We are seeking a skilled Functional Consultant with expertise in Hyperion Financial Management and Planning and Budgeting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing Hyperion solutions to enhance financial planning and budgeting processes. 

Key responsibilities include:

The consultant should have hands-on implementation experience with Oracle Hyperion Performance Management v11.1.2.4, covering the following contractual scope:

1. Hyperion Planning and Budgeting 

• Financial, staff cost/workforce, production, CAPEX, and maintenance planning.
• Budget scenarios and versions, approval workflows, top-down allocation, account/product/cost-centre dimensions, multicurrency planning, and tracking changes to budget figures.
• Up to 40 data forms, 15 custom calculations, 4 flat-file integrations, and 30 reports/analyses, including financial statements, headcount/staff costs, actual-versus-budget comparisons, and management reporting.

2. Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) 

• Financial consolidation, entity hierarchies, group chart-of-accounts mapping, ownership and minority interests, and intercompany reconciliation and elimination.
• Currency translation, journal adjustments, balance carry-forward, consolidation workflows, approvals, and security.
• Up to 1,000 entities and cost centres, 20 custom calculations, 4 flat-file data sources/interfaces, and 30 reports/KPIs, including financial statements, annual reports, and board reporting.

3. Required functional contribution

• Conduct business requirements workshops and prepare functional requirements and mapping documentation.
• Lead functional design and configuration, and coordinate data mapping, migration, and integration requirements with the technical team.
• Support CRP sessions, application walkthroughs, UAT, issue resolution, user training, and production readiness.
• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders in Arabic and prepare project documentation in English.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of financial processes and systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
