Business Process Consultant – Finance (Oracle Fusion Financials)

Job Purpose
The Business Process Consultant – Finance will lead the digital transformation and optimisation of Finance and Accounting operations within M**** Holdings LLC. The role requires deep functional expertise in Finance processes combined with strong hands-on experience in Oracle Fusion Financials. The consultant will drive process standardisation, automation, compliance, and reporting excellence across the Group's diverse business portfolio.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Analyse and map current-state Finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Financial Reporting. Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses, and design optimised future-state workflows.
- Lead end-to-end implementation and optimisation of Oracle Fusion Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax) in alignment with business requirements and UAE regulatory standards.
- Conduct workshops with Finance stakeholders for requirements gathering, current-state assessment, gap analysis, and future-state process design.
- Develop comprehensive Finance documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flow diagrams, data dictionaries, and RACI matrices.
- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations, IFRS standards, and applicable GCC financial reporting frameworks across all process and system designs.
- Collaborate with internal IT teams, ERP vendors, and system integrators to ensure seamless integration between Oracle Fusion Financials and subsidiary systems.
- Design Finance dashboards, MIS reports, and real-time analytics using Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC) or equivalent BI tools (Power BI / Tableau).
- Drive automation initiatives across Finance operations including invoice processing, reconciliations, period-end close, and intercompany transactions using RPA and AI-enabled tools.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data migration validation, cutover planning, and post-go-live support activities for Finance transformation initiatives.
- Drive change management activities, conduct end-user training sessions, and ensure effective adoption of new Finance systems across the organisation.

External: Oracle implementation partners, auditors, tax consultants, ERP vendors
Qualifications
- MBA in Finance or equivalent
- Professional certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Finance process consulting, ERP implementation, or financial management
- Minimum 3 end-to-end Oracle Fusion Financials implementation experiences (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) is mandatory
Experience Requirements
- Strong experience in Finance process redesign, digital transformation, and Oracle Fusion Financials implementations
- Proven knowledge of UAE VAT regulations, IFRS standards, and GCC financial compliance frameworks
- Experience in Finance automation using RPA tools (UiPath, Blue Prism, or similar)
- Strong background in requirements gathering, gap analysis, workshops, and business documentation
- Experience in change management, training, and enterprise-wide system adoption
Skills
- Strong expertise in Oracle Fusion Financials
- Deep understanding of Finance processes and controls
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, IFRS, and GCC regulatory requirements
- Experience with BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, Power BI, or Tableau
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication skills with ability to engage CFO-level stakeholders
- English language proficiency (Arabic is an advantage)
Engagement Model & Commercial Terms
- Contract duration: 6 months, extendable based on performance and project requirements
- Work arrangement:
- First 3 months: Onsite in UAE (Abu Dhabi / Al Ain)
- Thereafter: Remote work from Egypt, with travel to UAE as required during key project phases
- Compensation: Monthly basic salary (offshore rate basis)
- Travel expenses: Fully covered by client based on actuals and prior approval
- Per diem: Daily allowance for food and living expenses during onsite deployment in UAE
- Additional onsite travel and accommodation costs: Fully borne by the client

- NDA and confidentiality agreement mandatory prior to engagement
- Strong commitment to project timelines and availability in UAE time zone when required
