Drupal Front End Developer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with a local team to create high quality CMS sites built on the Drupal platform
• Strong knowledge of Web 2.0 and its technologies, tools, vendors, and products
• Collaborate with an international team of Project Managers and Architects to understand
client needs and communicate project progress
• Write great code! Independently determine the best approach to solving complex business
problems with technology
• Oversight and guidance for the design, code and testing of client solutions produced by the
web development staff
• Leadership for process improvement efforts
• Provide inputs to test planning and execution
• Fosters a collaborative, agency team environment, following and maintaining the
specifications, guidelines and standards set by the department
• Provides accurate estimation and delivery of projects
• Assesses the development requirements and providing input with regard to the provision of
standard vs. customized solutions
• Provides technical problem resolution to complex issues

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3 to 5 years’ experience in Internet/Software industry
• Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON
• Expert knowledge of cross-browser development and best practices

Must have experience working with Source Code Control systems Strong trouble-shooting
skills
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and modern JavaScript frameworks
including (AngularJS, ReactJS, Vue a plus
• Experience with XML; SOAP; RESTful services; DOM parsing and memory management
strategies
• Experience with templating engines and CMS driven front ends (Acquia Drupal)
• Application development life-cycle knowledge
